Photo editor Cathy Remy wove together the photographs and scans while writer Catherine Vincent told the story from a new and original angle.
Vincent's written piece is short and insightful. She ends with this line that suprised me in a positive way, even though the words are my own : Eli bit a hole into a piece of bread and left it on his plate. It seemed like a perfect metaphor for him, for the project, for the relationship we were investigating: something perfect with a large piece in the middle missing.
