Commercial Photography Battering Ram

Spring has sprung.
Birds are singing.
Commercial Photography Week is here on all of the Timothy Archibald Social Networks!

I thought it was in the air, but suspicions became realities when my work was featured on the Workbook.com homepage.

Get ready.

Mother's Day Story

Last week I was in the post office and a customer requests the Jimi Hendrix stamps.

Suddenly the conversation spills over between the workers and the people in line about Jimi, whether Sonny And Cher were street performers on Clay Street in the late 60's, and the derivative nature of Stevie Ray Vaughn' guitar playing.

Today I was photographing tho envelope before I sent it to my Mom in the lobby. An older guy asks me if I'd like him to hold the letter to get a better angle!? I say sure. He goes on to explain that he worked for the post office for 28 years. He then says "I'm sure you've read Post Office by Charles Bukowski, right?"

Amen.

CRAFFT Kommunication / Why We Work?

Well it was epic for me at least. Had the opportunity to put this image together at We Work Golden Gate in SF for CRAFFT Design, the brains behind the most radical and arty banking magazine I have ever seen. Alas, the art department is out of Berlin, so that may explain some things.

Multi-frame composite that actually was easier to put together then I thought it would be. Great to see it in all it's splendor on the page as well.

Sometimes... Print Lives.
